One of the major issues in Translation Studies is how to translate Political Texts and News. The present book entitled Translation of Political News and Texts aims to prepare the students for rendering News based on translation principles and techniques. It consists of seven parts, providing different political News and Texts in Persian and English along with translation samples and exercises.

Moreover, some basic translation strategies are presented in order to pave the way for the students to deal with translation of political news. Some titles, ministries, abbreviations, geographical names and name of citizens were also included so that the students will be acquainted with the usage of these names.

This book also brings great benefits to university instructors in teaching translation-related courses especially Translation of Political Texts and Political News Workshops.
